In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
(4) They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago.
They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations.  ~Isaiah 61:3-4

That's not all, folks!

Although we may sometimes feel like our young people, or our Nation, or even our world has gone-to-the-dogs...don't throw in the towel just yet.  And don't give up...Can you feel it?  Revival!

God always leaves a remnant of His people/His believers/and may He delay His judgment for a minute as we all seek to rebuild in His powerful Name and to repair what the evil one has broken in people.

God's Word and His people will revive those that are willing to be revived, and even those who have been deserted for many generations.

It's time.  And it's happening.

Many have turned-away from the Lord, but (just as the Bible repeats throughout Scripture), God always leaves a remnant of His people to carry His Name and share it, and...we are they.

Let's carry His Name and Share His hope with others today, my remnant-bearers, because that's not all, folks!  (There's a remnant!)

Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples, like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass...    ~Micah 5:7-9

We are HERE, friends, and we are God's remnant, placed here specifically to share the word (and hope and truth) of the Lord.

And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. (31) For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant... The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.’  ~2 Kings 19:30-31

Dig your heels in, Brothers and Sisters in Christ!  We must have deep roots in God and His Word (take root downward), so that we might bear fruit upward to our Lord.

And now for a little while grace has been
shown from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.  ~Ezra 9:8

Can you feel it?  Revival!

Yes, my children tell me about the school play centering around (and celebrating) lesbians going to prom, and my heart breaks and I don't doubt that our culture is flailing in anti-Biblical trends.  We have lost a lot of ground.

But that's not all, folks!

Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous (21) that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me..”...

(22) ...but Abraham remained standing before the Lord. (23) Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? (24) What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?

(25) Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

(26) The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

(27) Then Abraham spoke up again...  ~Genesis 18:20-27

Abraham begged God not to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah if He were to find forty-five righteous people, and then he begged God for no destruction if He were to find forty people, and then thirtytwenty and finally, Abraham asked God not to destroy these two grievously sinful cities if God could find only ten righteous people there.

He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”  ~Genesis 18:32

God will hold out for a remnant.

There is remnant, and we are they, and we are like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.

That's not all, folks!  Can you feel it?  Revival!

My kids also tell me about the highest attendance numbers they have ever had during their weekly (public school) Christian student meetings, and the attenders are largely non-church-goers.  (God is drawing people to Himself and His Truth!)

My kids are encouraged by (non-church-attending) friends asking their parents to buy them Bibles, and...students are READING THE BIBLE!  They have friends asking them to explain Biblical accounts, and each week we have new (and new-returning) students coming with us to church youth group.

Our daughter has a friend with multiple ear piercings, and the latest one is a cross.  "This one's for you", she told our daughter.
More and more students at her middle-school are wearing cross necklaces, and one boy can't wait to tell me his "verse of the day" every time he hops into our car for a ride home from track practice.

Another boy wants to speak to a pastor about being baptized and still another got baptized last week.

That's not all, folks!  Can you feel it?  Revival!

Lives are being changed daily for Christ...and BY CHRIST and for His glory!
God's remnant of believers are rebuilding ancient ruins and reviving people, even though they have been deserted for many generations (Isaiah 61:4).

~~~
Don't give up on the world today, let's start building into it--in the name of God and for His glory.
Because...that's not all, folks!
A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God. ~Isaiah 10:21
