What good things is our faith prompting us to do today?

A bouquet of flowers left on a doorstep.

A warm fuzzy blanket, gifted to someone upon hearing the news that someone they love has passed.

A little money sent in the mail.

An invitation to breakfast, lunch or dinner.

A hand-written note.

Cheering for someone from the sidelines.

Baking or cooking for someone.

Sending that text or making that call.

Supporting that cause or funding that missionary.

Thanking a volunteer.

Visiting a nursing home.

Taking a neighbor's empty garbage cans up from the road to their house.

Authentically listening to someone speaking to you.

Loving someone who is broken.

Leading someone who is lost.

What good things is our faith prompting us to do today?

Whatever it is, may God give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

Have we ever received love in some form at just the right time?  When we needed reminded that someone cared about our existence...and then that proof came?

Thank you to that someone whose faith prompted them to do that (whatever "that" was).

In a book I'm reading, a missionary had planned an "afternoon tea" event (cake and tea to be served) to share the Bible with others.  They had the tea to drink and had been praying (and believing) for the cake, but five minutes before the event, they still had no cake to serve any guests that might arrive.

And when the doorbell rang with (what they thought) was the first guest, it was the postman with a big white bakery box tied up with string, and guess what was inside?

A prayerful woman from the missionary's hometown had been prompted to do something, and God gave her the power to do it.

What good things is our faith prompting us to do today?

Someone may be left in a lurch if we don't act on that prompting, and even better: then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live (2 Thessalonians 1:12).

~~~
So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. (12) Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.  ~ 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
What good things is our faith prompting us to do today?
How might the name of our Lord Jesus be honored because of the way we live today?
Do we feel like we don't have the power to accomplish all the good things
Paul, Silas, and Timothy prayed for us over 2,000 years ago, that we would.
So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call.  ~2 Thessalonians 1:11
They prayed that we would have the power to accomplish all the good things our faith prompts us to do today.  Let's do them.
May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.   ~2 Thessalonians 1:11
Re-read the list at the beginning, but those are examples of promptings others have had and accomplished.
What good things is our faith prompting US to do today?  And let's get to them.
Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him.
This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.  ~2 Thessalonians 1:12
