(97) Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long.
(98) Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide.
(99) Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your laws.
(100) I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.
(101) I have refused to walk on any evil path, so that I may remain obedient to your word.
(102) I haven’t turned away from your regulations, for you have taught me well.
(103) How sweet your words taste to me; they are sweeter than honey. (104) Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life.
(105) Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
(106) I’ve promised it once, and I’ll promise it again: I will obey your righteous regulations. ~Psalm 119:97-106
I wish I could say these things.
I want to say these things.
We can say these things.
Try today to do these things.

After having a gab-session the other day with our daughter (where I mostly listened), I praised the Lord that she knows God's instructions, and that she hates "false ways of life" (Psalm 119:104).
Friends who party late and are up to no good. Parents who allow/support/ignore it.
Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. ~Psalm 119:104
Teachers who teach their (own) truth instead of God's.
Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your laws. ~Psalm 119:99
When people twice (or three times) her age challenge her without validation, she is not shaken, but easily responds with respect, kindness and confidence.
I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments. ~Psalm 119:100
She knows better, Father. She knows You, and Your instructions.
Your ways are better for us, Lord.

I can take no credit for any of this, but I give full credit to the Bible and God's instructions. My husband and I will continue to raise our children in God's commands, which are the only thing that keep them tethered and grounded as they grow up and experience life unfiltered
I have refused to walk on any evil path, so that I may remain obedient to your word. (102) I haven’t turned away from your regulations, for you have taught me well. ~Psalm 119:101-102
These verses, these instructions...this Bible is for us, old and young, new and experienced...anyone and everyone that desires to taste God's sweet words.
And as I read these verses in Psalm 119, I see our children and the other young Believers of today: standing like soldiers in God's army at attention. These verses are every Christ-followers battle cry and our foundational armor and artillery:
Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long.
(98) Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide.
(99) Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your laws.

(106) I’ve promised it once, and I’ll promise it again: I will obey your righteous regulations. ~Psalm 119:97-106
These verses ring truth in my ears and I echo them...but I am old.
After chatting with our daughter last night, I praise the Lord that these verses echo within her (young) walls as well.
The output of God's instructional input is that He keeps us on the right (and righteous) path: HIS!
Have we seen the other paths?
Are we living life and rubbing shoulders with those on alternative paths?
Have we gotten off of God's instructions, commandments and path?
Are we/do we know others who do not think of God's laws...are unwise...do not have Godly insight... have not refused to walk on evil paths...and have turned away from His regulations?
Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long. ~Psalm 119:97
I wish I could say these things.
I want to say these things.
We CAN say these things.
And we will try today to do these things.
