Does God really say that we can only have 
faith-in, 
            rest-in, 
                        and worship 
                                            ONLY Him?  

Yes.

We are deceiving ourselves if we live (and offer our hearts in worship) otherwise.

You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

What are we striving for today?  Stability?  Joy?  Successful outcomes?  Marital union?  Marital unity?  Material wealth?  Accolades?  Approval?

You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

What is killing us today?  Fear?  Pressure?  Expectations?  Deadlines?  Debt?

You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4 

The answer is (always) in acknowledging God in our life (You must acknowledge no God but me).  Let's go to Him.  

Lay it all down today: both the issue(s) that we face, but also...our pride.  Our ideas and our ego that say we can do it alone: lay it all down today.  

You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

Do we want to be "saved" from something today?  Then we must acknowledge the savior today.

You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

And watch...WATCH(!) what happens.  Watch hearts soften (ours and others).  Watch eyes open (ours and others).  See fresh options and new perspectives become visible where they were not before.

Watch mountains melt.  

Feel the savior in ways that we could have never predicted, and in ways that He could not have introduced until we acknowledged that there is no God but Him, and that there is no other savior.

He is the answer to our every question.  He is the fulfillment of our every desire.  He is our Savior.

It works with every question/thorn/issue/trail/trauma in our life and in our heart:

    You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

Difficult child?  You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

Negative work/home/team environment?  You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

Major life decisions/issues?  You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

Minor choices to be made?  You must acknowledge no God but me, for there is no other savior.  ~Hosea 13:4

When we acknowledge and accept and submit to no God but God...we will be saved.  We are saved.

It sounds a little like a riddle, but it's not.  
If we will acknowledge no God but God, then in whatever situation/area/circumstance/quandary that we find ourselves in today...we will find our Savior.  

We sure do search everywhere (else) to find (physical/emotional/financial/relational/professional/directional) help and salvation...but we have to wake up to the Truth, Friends: there is NO other savior.

Acknowledge (only) God today, for there is no other savior.  
And He stands ready to save us.

It’s never too late to turn to the Lord.   And--it’s never too late to turn back to the Lord.   Do we GET IT?   King Hezekiah GOT IT.   The people in his area (Israel) had not been following the Lord, and they had fallen away from the (God-ordained) traditions that the Lord had designed to connect His people with Himself,  like going to church (Temple), and like celebrating the festival of Passover.  So they sent a proclamation throughout all Israel...inviting everyone to come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover of the  Lord , the God of Israel. Ever been around boys (of any age)?  They don't concern themselves with talking about   other  boys...they are not (usually) comparative that way, and would prefer to be competitive instead.  They are often contented with jokes and sounds, rather than defaming other guys or discussing their shortfalls. But...ever been around women ( of any age )?  For some sinful reason, our conversations often seem to p ick-a-little, talk-a-little, pick some more and talk, talk, talk about other women.  We  simmer into a boil as we digress and regress into unbecoming chatter about   other  women.   It's a terrible habit and yet girls in elementary school don't need to be taught how and even elderly church biddies can't quite fully withdraw.  We all still fall to condemning others  from time to time.  We have this sinful draw to make ourselves feel good by chirping back and forth and making someone   else   feel bad. The earth is the   Lord ’s, and everything in it.   The world and all its people belong to him.   (2)  For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas  and built it on the ocean depths.   ~Psalm 24:1-2 We belong to Him, but also…our world belongs to Him: and  everything in it .   Everything.   Every tree and flower, every person, every pelican, everything.
