And I saw another angel flying through the sky, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. (7) “Fear God,” he shouted. “Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.” ~Revelation 14:6-7
Are we flying through (life)...carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world?
If they "belong to this world", then they don't (yet) belong to God...and that's why we are called to carry the eternal Good News to them.
They must hear it from someone, Y'all! Why wouldn't/shouldn't/couldn't it be US today?
I love the (mind's eye) image that the verses concerning this angel create for us: Can't we just see the angel flying through the sky, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
We can picture this angel and his task, but Friends...can we imitate it today? Will we fly through our appointments, our offices, our homes, our exchanges-with-others with one purpose: carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
Can we do this today?
What if we did?
What if we were an angel on God's errand today?
Most of us will come in contact with someone today: let's carry the eternal Good News to proclaim to them.
What if we got bold?
What if we cared more about carrying the eternal Good News than we did about what people might think of us carrying it?
What if we were somebody's angel today, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.

Our son is a camp counselor this Summer, spending 24 hours a day with kids as they hike, swim, play, eat, sleep and learn how much God enjoys and loves them through counselors who enjoy and love them.
After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.”“Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him. ~John 21:15
(In a camp environment) he is flying through their lives this Summer, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to them (the people who belong to this world).
He is helping them to understand and appreciate what it means to “Fear God,” and to “Give glory to him" and to "worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.” (Revelation 14:6-7).

One of my besties led a Vacation Bible School at her church last week, and she's so humble that I could barely gain any details, but I found out that she shared Bible Truth and Scripture with almost three hundred children for five days last week.
With everything that our culture throws at young people, they think that they belong to this world until an angel flies through carrying the eternal Good News that they belong to the Lord.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? ~Romans 10:14
Almost 300 kids heard that eternal Good News at just one church last week, and there are many more Vacation Bible Schools happening at other churches!
Let's figure out how we can get involved in carrying the eternal Good News today!

This (I believe) is the only place in the Bible where God's Word is called "the eternal Good News". This is the (verbal) description that God gave to John as John journaled and wrote the Book of Revelation.
The term "eternal Good News" may have been birthed as John penned it way back when, but the eternal timestamp of this phrase (and its reality) is as fresh today as when John put the pen to paper.
The timeless message of God's hope and purpose will never change or fade. Its authenticity and urgency are the same for us today as was true for Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, Peter, St. Francis of Assisi, Martin Luther, Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Will Graham, yo, and me, and a myriad of other Believers.
All of these (and we!) are angels flying through...carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world.
How will we do it today?
That part is up to us: be it a sleep-away camp, a summer-Bible-school, or a conversation with our neighbor.
What we say (“Fear God,” he shouted. “Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.” ~Revelation 14:7) is already (Biblically) outlined...but the question (and invitation) remains for us today: will we say it?
I hope so...and go!
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ~Matthew 11:19-20
