Feeling bad about feeling good?

Don't.

God gives us His blessing on being blessed, on blessing others, and on enjoying His blessings, if we are rooted in Him.

The oxy-moronic (opposite pull) of enjoying blessing-as-a-Believer is that we tend to want to feel guilty (bad) about feeling good.

But God (and His Word) say, "Don't"--if we are seeking to live our lives for Him.

~~~
David was king (literally), and he had the power, influence and finances to go with it.  But underneath all of that, his foundation was God: God's ways, God's will for his life, and he submitted to God.  These were David's cornerstones...and he happened to be king.
Similarly in faith and dedication to God, but different in income and status--the Israelites had the same cornerstones.  (At least for that day---the more we read the Bible the more we realize that the Israelites were hot and cold about following God--just like us.)
But today they were all-in under the leadership of David as they all brought the sacred Ark of the Covenant back "home" to the City of David together:
They brought the Ark of God and placed it inside the special tent David had prepared for it. And they presented burnt offerings and peace offerings to God.  ~I Chronicles 16:1
They (David and the people) were all giving God the honor and glory that He deserves.  They had moved in procession to bring the Ark into town, they had placed it somewhere special, and they were keeping-God-special in their hearts by presenting sacrifices (burnt offerings) and peace offerings to Him.
Their foundation and worship of God was authentic.
 David was wealthy, and most of the people-in-procession, not-so-much, but their hearts were all on equal playing-ground as they honored God that day.  Their money didn't matter.
If we can say the same today--that our foundation and worship of God is authentic--then our money, power and influence (or lack-of-it) is not "king" over us.
When he had finished his sacrifices, David blessed the people in the name of the Lord. (3) Then he gave to every man and woman in all Israel a loaf of bread, a cake of dates, and a cake of raisins.  ~I Chronicles 16:2-3
Reminder--David had the financial means to bless those who were worshiping God with him, and he chose to.  David was filled with God's spirit, and in the joy of worshiping God, he had a heart to bless others: every man and woman...with a loaf of bread, a cake of dates, and a cake of raisins (I Chronicles 16:3).
If that is us today--Go for it!  We do not need to feel "bad" about feeling good, or about including other believers in the celebration.  If we are able, blessed, and feel-inclined to bless...then bless!
The Israelite people on the other hand, were most likely not well-off, or certainly not as financially-strong as King David.  But in David's joy-in-serving-the-Lord, David blessed them.
Should they feel "bad" about feeling good?
Should we?
Don't.
God gives us His blessing on being blessed, on blessing others, and on enjoying His blessings, if we are rooted in Him.
David generously blessed every man and woman...with a loaf of bread, a cake of dates, and a cake of raisins (I Chronicles 16:3).  David didn't feel bad about doing good, and the people accepted it: they didn't feel bad about feeling good.  And then they all praised the Lord together.
If we are the blesser today--don't feel bad about feeling good.
If we are the blessee today--don't feel bad about feeling good.
And either way...the next step is praising God.  David led the people in praying to the Lord and he leads us in praise today too:
(8) Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.  Let the whole world know what he has done.
(9) Sing to him; yes, sing his praises.  Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.
(10) Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord.
(11) Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.
(12) Remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given...
(23) Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!  Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
(24)  Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.  Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
(25) Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!  He is to be feared above all gods.
(36)  Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting!  And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the Lord.  ~I Chronicles 16:8-12, 23-24,5, 36
God gives us His blessing on being blessed, on blessing others, and on enjoying His blessings, if we are rooted in Him.
Feeling bad about feeling good?
Don't.
And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the Lord.  ~I Chronicles 16:36
