Can one person ruin it for everyone else?  Sure.  Ever had to run laps because of someone else on the team?

Can one person ruin it for everyone else?  Sure.  Ever missed recess because other people were too loud/messy/wild in the lunchroom or class?

Can one person ruin it for everyone else?  Sure.  Ever worked on a team project where not everyone contributed to the "team"?

Can one person ruin it for everyone else?  Sure.  Ever tried to succeed when you have a back-biter/self-promoter/critical-spirit/tongue in your group/class/team/office/family?

Can one person ruin it for everyone else?  Definitely.

Adam ruined it for us.

In his defense, being the first human...it was probably only a matter of time before he sinned (ate from the fruit of the ONE tree that God asked him and Eve not to eat from) and "ruined it" for everyone else.

Somehow, from the very beginning of all peoples, we have always had a selfish and prideful-bent.

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, (3) but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

(4) “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. (5) “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

(6) When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. (7) Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.  ~Genesis 3:2-7

They only had some of the fruit!  Not even the whole thing!

But in tasting it, Adam and Eve had taken a bite of disobedience to their Lord.  Even a nip/sip/glance/or sinful thought is enough to convict us.  Sin is an affront to God and a blatant decision to dishonor Him.  Adam and Eve knew that.  We know that each time we enter into it too.

Can one person ruin it for everyone else? Yes, and Adam's sin did.

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned...   ~Romans 5:14

But...can one person's actions resolve other people's troubles?  Sure.  Ever been losing the game/match or been low in sales/grades/production, and then one person rallies the rest of the team?  Their positive attitude, vision and encouragement created powerful results.

But...can one person's actions resolve other people's troubles?  Sure.  Ever been broken, low, depressed, or hopeless and had someone pray for you/over you/with you?  It's more than mood-changing, it's spirit-changing.  It's outlook-changing, and it is God working through His people to help His people.

But...can one person's actions resolve other people's troubles sin?  Yes, and our Heavenly Father and His sinless Son, Jesus Christ did it for us

But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. (16) And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.

(17) For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.

(18) Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.

(19) Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.  ~Romans 5:15-19

Yes, one man's sin (Adam) ruined it for us, but YES! ...even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:15).

Yes, one man's sin (Adam) ruined it for us, but YES! ...even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousnessfor all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.  ~Romans 5:17

This verse proves our salvation for today and all the way through eternity (😃) once we accept Christ into our hearts(!), but this verse also proves our sanity for today in living in triumph over the sin and death that the world attempts to darken our days/minds/hearts with.

But even greater is God!  (Romans 5:15)

He is fully aware that one man (Adam) ruined it for us.  And God is also fully aware that we ruin-it-for-ourselves (with our own sin) on a daily basis too.

But it was in that full awareness of our sin that God sent Jesus to die for us.

Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.  ~Romans 5:18

Can one person ruin it for everyone else?  Sure, we've all been there (and done that!), and it started with the very first person God ever created.  Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners...  ~Romans 5:19

But...can one person's actions resolve other people's sin?  Yes, and our Heavenly Father and His sinless Son, Jesus Christ did it for us.  But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.  ~Romans 5:19

Be made righteous today!
Yes, sin calls us and tempts us and distracts us...
But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his giftof forgiveness and righteousness. (Romans 5:15, 17).

Choose righteousness over ruin today.  Can we do it? YES!
