Here's a riddle for us: Are we aware of something that boldly "proclaims" and "displays" God's craftsmanship, yet such "proclamations" are non-verbal?

Who or what do we know that "speaks" of God's glory without a sound or word

Do we do those things?

Is it possible to be created by our Creator, and to proclaim Him...to carry His message throughout the earth without words, but in how we live, react, praise and exist in being who He made us to be?

At the tutorial of Psalm 19, I am taking a lesson from the heavens today:

(1) The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.

(2) Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.

(3) They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.

(4) Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.  ~Psalm 19:1-4

That is not only some of the most beautiful poetry I have ever heard, but chew on the verses for a moment.  Ruminate on them.  Turn them over in your mind and your heart.

They are artistically-written words, but their meaning is true, and verifiable, and transcends generations and time.

God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars.  ~Genesis 1:16

Since the moment He made the heavens...they have proclaimed Him.  They have displayed his craftsmanship.  Day after day...and night after night--they make him known.

Do the heavens study Scripture?  Memorize Bible verses?  Take classes at church or earn seminary degrees in theology?

How then, can they "speak" (argue/defend/preach) God's message?

They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.  (4) Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.  ~Psalm 19:3-4

What about us?  Chew on that question for a moment.  Ruminate on it.  Turn it over in our mind and our heart.

Do we proclaim the glory of God?

Do we display His craftsmanship?

Day after day what do we "speak" of God?

Night after night how are we making him known?  (Do we want to admit?)

Take away our well-meaning/hopeful/empty words and (if we are honest)--What do our lives "speak" when we remove the sounds and words?

What message do we send throughout the earth?

(1) The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.

(2) Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.

(3) They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.

(4) Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.  ~Psalm 19:1-4

~~~
Day after day, do we continue to "speak" of our Lord and make him known?
What do my actions "make known"?
What does my attitude "speak" of?
How do we rise from bed in the morning?
How do we greet the day?
How do we greet our spouse, family, dog, neighbor, co-workers?
How do we greet our Divinely-assigned day and those God populates it with?
Will I continue to speak of my Lord today?
Are we proclaiming the glory of God today?
Am I displaying his craftsmanship today?  How?
~~~

They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.  ~Psalm 19:3

What am I "saying" when you take away my words?  What message are we bringing/proclaiming to the world?

~~~
Today we will proclaim the glory of God.
Today we will display his craftsmanship.
Day after day we will continue to speak.  (Blaze like the sun for Him!).
Night after night we will make him known.  (Shine like stars for Him!
Today we will speak without a sound or word for Him.  Today our voices will be quiet but our faith will be loud!
Blessings,
