...if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.  ~Psalm 139:9-10

~~~
Are you out of town today?  Far from home?
In an exciting and amazing location, but somehow feeling a disconnect that we didn't expect because of the distance in between?
Maybe we are (literally) dwelling by the farthest ocean today, and the miles-from-home feel palpable.  Or perhaps our heart and mind are local but are feeling remote…disconnected…removed….and detached from God’s care.
Whether we are in a remote physical, emotional, or spiritual location today, God has a message in a bottle for us.  Actually, it's His Message in the Bible for us.
Our Lord knows us…everything about us, and He loves us.
He sees us when we travel or when we are in our home, and in both places (and all the places in between) He goes before us, He protects us, He even follows us, and His strength supports us.
And God does not condemn us.
Even if we think we are hiding, He does not wonder where-we-are.
Our Lord knows everything about us, and He loves us.
Home or away (even far away), we can never escape God’s Spirit…(but why would we try?)   We could ask the darkness to hide usbut even in darkness we cannot hide from Him.  (Stop trying.)
Wherever we are today, the Lord is here.  God’s hand guides us today.  His strength supports us today.  And God’s message in the Bible even tells us that He places His hand of blessing on our head.  (Receive it.)
In our home today or dwelling by the farthest ocean, our Lord has examined our heart and thoughts and He is with us.  Be strengthened today by His message and by Him.
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.  (2) You know when I sit down or stand up.  You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
(3) You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.  You know everything I do.  (4) You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
(5) You go before me and follow me.  You place your hand of blessing on my head.
(6) Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!  (7) I can never escape from your Spirit!  I can never get away from your presence!
(8) If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.
(9) If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, (10) even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
(11) I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—(12) but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.  Darkness and light are the same to you.  ~Psalm 139:1-12
Are we dwelling by the farthest ocean today? It looks like perfection or paradise, but we need guidance and strength?
Read God’s message in a bottle the Bible.
You go before me and follow me.  You place your hand of blessing on my head. ~Psalm 139:5
