Inside the dwelling of an igloo is where an Eskimo lives.

Inside the dwelling of a nest is where a bird lives

Inside the dwelling of hive is where a bee lives.

Inside the dwelling of a reef is where a clownfish lives.

Inside the dwelling of a doghouse is where a dog lives.

And did we know that the Bible says that inside the dwelling of us is where God lives by his Spirit (Ephesians 2:22).

Pretty amazing, isn't it?

God says that we are members of God’s family, just like every other Believer that knows the Lord, and has ever known the Lord (like the apostles and the prophets).  All of us, together...(Believers, followers of Christ etc.)--we are his house, (God's house), and through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit (Ephesians 2:22).

What could this possibly mean?

It means that all of us forgiven-sinners create a place of God among us, an atmosphere of Him here, and we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets (Ephesians 2:20).  And us-seeking-Him builds the foundations for followers-of-Him in the future.

The cornerstone of a beaver's dam is sticks.
The cornerstone of a well-made house is bricks.
And the cornerstone of our "house" of faith and Believers, (built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets) is Jesus.

...And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. (21) We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. (22) Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.  ~Ephesians 2:19-22

Isn't it amazing?
Just as wasps use wood and their saliva to carefully join together to form their nests...
Just as squirrel's carefully join together leaves, twigs, and moss to form their den....
We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. (22) Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit (Ephesians 2:21-22).

Every animal has it place of dwelling, and we have ours where God lives by his Spirit.  And there's no place I'd rather be than home with God.

Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets.  And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. (21) We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. (22) Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.  ~Ephesians 2:20-22
