Can we praise the Lord today?
Will we?
Psalm 92 speaks (proclaims/sings/prays/praises) for us today. Let the words of Psalm 92 be our words. Let's praise the Lord today.
(1) It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. ~Psalm 92:1
It is good to give thanks to the Lord: He is so good to us. So merciful, so sovereign.

(2) It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning... ~Psalm 92:2
Where I live, it's been really cold out lately, like way below freezing.
There's something about the warmth of being burrowed into the blankets on your bed when it's that cold. You don't want to leave! It's hard to get up and you certainly don't want to get out. But I did want to get out today.
My (Florida) sister texted me early one morning, wondering what might motivate us Ohioans to get out of bed on such cold days?
But what motivates me to get up in the morning is the same thing that motivates you: to proclaim God's unfailing love in the morning.
It is so good to.
It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning... ~Psalm 92:2
God is worth getting up for, braving the elements for, and setting aside morning time for. Can we praise the Lord today?
Will we?
But not just in the morning...let's proclaim his faithfulness in the evening, too. All day long!
Our God is so very good to us. When we stop and look, review, and absorb all of the seasons in which He has stretched us, and the harvests with which He has blessed us (and every season in between): It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High.... in the morning and in the evening.
I don't have a musical bone in my body, but two of our children play stringed instruments, and oooooo, the melodies and music that are produced through a single instrument or an orchestra of many. If we knew how to play the gorgeous scales of a stringed instrument, this musical offering would accompany our accolades to the Almighty.
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. (2) It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, (3) accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, a harp, and the melody of a lyre. ~Psalm 92:1-3

Psalm 92 speaks for us today. Let the words of Psalm 92 be our words. Let's praise the Lord today.
You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. (5) O Lord, what great works you do! ~Psalm 92:4-5
Have we allowed ourselves to be thrilled by all that God has done for us lately?
No--I'm serious, and so is Scripture. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High (Psalm 92:1), but do we?
We huff and we puff, and hmmph and we complain, and we feel sorry for ourselves and we even play the martyr sometimes in relation to our faith.
But have we (instead) allowed gratitude for our God to enter our awareness and have we been thrilled by all that God has done for us lately?
Will we?
He is worthy. Sing for joy to Him today.
You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. (5) O Lord, what great works you do! ~Psalm 92:4-5

Let's share our joy about Jesus with someone today. The only people who don't know or understand Him are those who don't want to.
And how deep are your thoughts. (6) Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this: (7) Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever. (8) But you, O Lord, will be exalted forever. (9) Your enemies, Lord, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered. ~Psalm 92:5-9

Can we praise the Lord for what He's done and what He promises us today?
Will we?
Psalm 92 speaks (proclaims/sings/prays/praises) for us today.
But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil. (11) My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents.
(12) But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. (13) For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.
(14) Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green. (15) They will declare, “The Lord is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!” ~Psalm 92:10-15
This is God's Word, speaking for us today. Speaking over us today.
Will we accept what Psalm 92 speaks into us today?
May we be as strong as a wild ox today.
May our eyes see the downfall of our enemies today.
May we flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon today.
May we be transplanted to the Lord’s own house today.
May we flourish in the courts of our God today.
Even in old age may we still produce fruit; may we remain vital and green.
(Psalm 92:10-15)
