Were we seeking to serve the Lord yesterday and the day before?
Are we doing our best to serve God today?
Yes. Yes we are.
We are trying...and we are striving...and we are yearning to please our Heavenly Father, and to walk in His ways. We are reading His Word, we are trusting His leading, and we are attempting to live out His statutes...the best that we can. We are abiding with Him.
...And we are accomplishing these feats of daily faith! (Are we trying in our faith? ...Then we are achieving in our faith.)
The Lord is pleased with us today.
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” ~Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord God loves us today.
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. ~Jeremiah 31:3
But there is a small, dangerous, whispering voice, that is not the Lord's, that constantly cuts and criticizes our faith-confidence. We're not "living faithfully" for the Lord...it hisses into our heart.
We are not "doing/praying/abiding" enough to be called godly or righteous by our Heavenly Father...this voice seethes into our spirit.
But this is not the Lord's voice, and we must tune out the lies today, and tune-in to God's Word and His Truth, and His confirmation of satisfaction and love over us.
The Bible is not full of condemnation, and instead, God breathes affirming life into our easily-discouraged spiritual soul.
We are loved today by our Heavenly Father, and He calls us righteous and godly.
Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord. (20) These gates lead to the presence of the Lord, and the godly enter there. (21) I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory! ~Psalm 118:19-21
Because we have accepted Christ as our Savior and received God's forgiveness and freedom, we know the secret to life...that He is the secret to life. Let the world keep striving for superficial and unattainable mirage-rewards. But as for us, we have met the One who satisfies, and our reliance on Him (alone) brings fullness and purpose to our lives and to our today.
We know the secret to life...that Jesus is the secret to life.
The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. (23) This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see. (24) This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:22-24
Let the Lord's Word, the Bible, speak life and affirmation over us and into us today. We are enough, because we believe in God and we do our best to seek and serve Him. He is for us.
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. ~Psalm 16:11
God reminds us today and encourages and affirms us that we are His, and because this is true, we can come to Him. We can ask His presence, His help, and His blessing today. He is our Father, and we can ask of Him because we are His children.
Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. (26) Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord. ~Psalm 118:25-26
Because we are desiring to live and do our best in seeking and serving God...we are accomplishing this, and He calls us righteous. We are grateful to be among God's sanctified children, and the Lord smiles upon us today.
We offer ourselves...and our Lord accepts.
And we praise and exalt Him today.
The Lord is God, shining upon us. Take the sacrifice and bind it with cords on the altar. (28) You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! (29) Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. ~Psalm 118:27-29

Abandon the false voices and intentions of this world, and today let's cling to Christ and the Truth He tells His followers (us!).
We don't have to earn it, God has done the work. We just have to enter and go in.
Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord. (20) These gates lead to the presence of the Lord, and the godly enter there. (21) I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!
