Who speaks to us today?
Who speaks to our heart today?
The One who is holy and true. The One who has the key of David.
~~~
Are we burdened by our past? He closes it.
Are we anxious about our future? He opens it!
“Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. This is the message from the one who is holy and true, the one who has the key of David. What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes, no one can open... ~Revelation 3:7
Sometimes, we don't feel strong enough in our faith to be called God's children. Some days we don't feel strength at all.
Is it today?
Listen to what the Lord says to us today. Listen to what God sees in us today. Listen to what God promises and prophesy's into us today and for tomorrow--because we are obeying His word and not denying Him.
“I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close.
You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.
(9) Look, I will force those who belong to Satan’s synagogue—those liars who say they are Jews but are not—to come and bow down at your feet. They will acknowledge that you are the ones I love.
(10) “Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.
(11) I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. (12) All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God—the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name.
(13) “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. ~Revelation 3:8-13
Christ is coming soon, Everyone! He told the people of Israel this so that they might ready their hearts for Him, over two thousand years ago. How much closer must the time of His coming be for us today?
“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. ~Revelation 3:13
Jesus says that He knows all of the things we do. (For Him. In Him. Because of Him. Because of our faith in Him.) And because of that--He has opened a door of salvation and eternity to us...that no one can close.
“I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. ~Revelation 3:8
Period.
We are in, Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. (2) You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. (3) You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. (4) Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. (5) You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. ~Psalm 139:1-5
God knows us! And He has opened a door for us.
God knows us today.
You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me. ~Revelation 3:8
How many of us can echo an "Amen" to this (You have little strength) today?
Fellow Believers...ye of little strength.... the Lord breathes His word, and His hope, and His promise into us today...to strengthen those of little strength.
His strength and power covers us and blesses us. Even those of us with little strength.
Keep pursuing Him today, and keep persevering in His Name today.
“Because you have obeyed my command to persevere... ~Revelation 3:10
We must hold on to what we have in Christ and in faith today, Friends!
The promises of Jesus for us today are outstanding. Are we standing-out for Him today? Are we persevering to be one-day-at-a-time victorious for Him?
The promises of Jesus for us today are outstanding:
All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God—the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name. ~Revelation 3:12
I do.
Our God is amazing! And he is holy and true, and so is His Word.
Yes, we may have little strength today, but God gives us His strength through His Word today. Can we feel it? Are we listening?
“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. ~Revelation 3:13
Stand out for Jesus today! Persevere(!) and be victorious in His holy and true Name.
