Have we hugged our God today?
Psalm 100 invites us to enter-in joyfully to God's presence and to praise Him today. Throughout the Psalm are invitational words and phrases to schedule our day today in worship of our Lord.
Shout, worship, come before, know, give thanks, praise His name...
These words speak of speechlessness before our Savior... Let's give it up for our God today, and let's worship the Lord with gladness.
And the Lord isn't requesting us to honor and praise Him in a tiny whisper, or so that no one might notice. He's heard us on the sidelines at athletic games, and he has heard us in the major league and national stadiums, and at rinks and courts...and God has heard our cheers and chants at home in the living room when the big game is on.
God knows that we can get loud when we are impassioned.
Let's be impassioned for the One Who makes all things new today: Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth today, Friends.
If anyone or anything deserves our worship at an audible level, it is the Lord.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. ~Psalm 100:1

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. ~Psalm 100:3
We are God's people--He is the shepherd and we are His sheep. He will never abandon us, and He will care for us: and that alone is worth celebrating today!
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. ~Psalm 100:3
We are doing the Lord's work today: as we meet/labor/eat/enjoy/rest--we serve the Lord, Who is worthy of all our praise! When we realize that God created us, and that He gives us all that we have and all that we are: we want to give to others as He has (so generously) given to us.
What are two things (just two!) that we praise the Lord for today?

It is he who made us, and we are his... ~Psalm 100:3

Let's enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise today. Let's give thanks to him and praise his name, because...He is worthy!!
Have we thanked Him for the little and the big things today? Could we shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth?
Lord, we praise You for waking us up today. We praise You for the abilities You have given us, from walking to talking to thinking, to the privilege of serving You...we praise You today, Lord!
Thank You, Father for allowing us to work hard in Your Name today at whatever it is that You give us to do! Amen.
