My, my, (my!) how time flies. It seems just yesterday that we noticed a newly crafted nest on our front porch (artificial) tree. And then three blue eggs were suddenly sitting in the nest. But my, my, (my!) how time flies, because then: three tiny naked bodies with beaks began to be seen within the nest, and then (my, my, my) these little guys began to foster fuzzy feathers and my, my, (my!) how time flies---now they barely fit in the nest and their rapidly-growing little robin statures are fully-cloaked with full feather coats.

Where does the time go? This robin life cycle has all occurred in only the last month, and yet today it is now time for these (recent!) babies to stand up, step out, and begin the natural progression of beginning to fly.
But these members of the robin family are not the only ones that the Lord brings from birth to life...and into living-life (ups and downs both included!) as He has designed and planned-out for them.
As His children--this is our progression and our call for the numbered days that we walk this earth, and through it all, His love endures forever. And my, my, (my!) how time flies.
The Israelites, God's original "chosen people" (...and now we are included in His "chosen" also) had faith in the Lord...and Psalm 136 reminds us of the secret to life and its cycles: which is remembering that God's love never changes, varies, or wanes for His children. His love endures forever--no matter what, and through all of our life stages.
Be encouraged today: His love endures forever.
Our Lord created all things and all processes: His love endures forever.

(1) Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.  His love endures forever.
(2) Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.
(3) Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever.
(4) to him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever. (5) who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever.
(6) who spread out the earth upon the waters, His love endures forever.
(7) who made the great lights—His love endures forever.
(8) the sun to govern the day, His love endures forever.
(9) the moon and stars to govern the night; His love endures forever. ~Psalm 136:1-9

Be strengthened today, in God's strength. He fights our battles, and He faces our giants, and He makes a way for us today. His love will not fizzle as we battle the world and its ways: it will endure forever.

(10) to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt His love endures forever.
(11) and brought Israel out from among them His love endures forever.
(12) with a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.
(13) to him who divided the Red Sea asunder His love endures forever.
(14) and brought Israel through the midst of it, His love endures forever.
(15) but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea; His love endures forever.
(16) to him who led his people through the wilderness; His love endures forever. (17) to him who struck down great kings, His love endures forever.
(18) and killed mighty kings—His love endures forever.
(19) Sihon king of the Amorites His love endures forever.
(20) and Og king of Bashan—His love endures forever. ~Psalm 136:10-20

Like the robin-chicks readied for flight...our Lord knew our birth date and He has prescribed today for you and me.  He has good plans (Jeremiah 29:11) for His children and that means US!  Through our ups and downs, and our cycles of life--our Lord has good in store: His love endures forever.

(21) and gave their land as an inheritance, His love endures forever.
(22) an inheritance to his servant Israel. His love endures forever.
(23) He remembered us in our low estate His love endures forever.
(24) and freed us from our enemies.  His love endures forever.
(25) He gives food to every creature. His love endures forever.
(26) Give thanks to the God of heaven.  His love endures forever.  ~Psalm 136:21-26

Seventeen short years ago, our family welcomed a new hatchling, and yet: my, my, (my!) how time flies. It seems just yesterday he climbed-up the stairs for the first time and rejoiced with his big brother in the accomplishment.

And yet...my, my, (my!) how time flies: High School Graduation has come.

Where does the time go? Could kindergarten through 12th grade go so quickly and feel like just a few weeks in the nest? Apparently so.

Today he stands up, steps out, and begins the natural progression of learning to fly on his own. My, my, (my!) how time flies

~~~
My, my, (my!) how time flies. and the Lord reveals to us through robins, through the Israelites, through His Word, and through our own lives--that the ups and downs and progressions of life...are life! And through each stage and session He loves us, and His love endures forever.
The Lord lovingly reminds us of this today.
Through the hatch-to-flight process of robins...
As evidenced with the Israelites...
And also woven into our days between birth to high school graduation...and beyond: My, my, (my!) how time flies.
And through it all, His love endures forever.
Blessings,
