My papa planted a different apple tree in his yard when each of his grandchildren were born.

And we have a beautiful peach tree in our front yard.

We've all seen fruit trees laden with their specific fruit, but I never considered that a fruit tree might be praising the Lord from the earth with its fruit, until I read the Bible today.

Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, (8) fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him, (9) mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars...  ~Psalm 148:7

~~~
Do we know why we are here today?
For the same reason that the twinkling stars are here, and for the same reason that the fruit trees are here.
To praise the Lord (Psalm 148:1)
The Lord has called everything He created to praise Him...from the stars, to big wild animals and all livestock...to small scurrying animals...to fruit trees.
God forgets nothing and He has made everything.  He has an order to all things, and He (our Lord and our Creator) is at the top.
And what is our response?
Praise the Lord!
Everyone and all entities of His creation, He ordains to praise Him.
Praise the Lord!  ~Psalm 148:1
That is our job today, whether we are a king of the earth, a judge, a young woman, an old man, or a vapor high above the clouds.
Everything, in all forms of life, and all of us in all stages of life... praise the Lord today. We are His Creation, and our Creator warrants, requests, and authorizes our praise.
We can look to the stars...they are shining.  Have we ever considered that they (and other heavenly features are praising the Lord from the heavens?
Praise the Lord from the heavens! Praise him from the skies! (2) Praise him, all his angels!
Praise him, all the armies of heaven!
(3) Praise him, sun and moon!  Praise him, all you twinkling stars! (4) Praise him, skies above!  Praise him, vapors high above the clouds!
(5) Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being.
(6) He set them in place forever and ever.  His decree will never be revoked.  ~Psalm 148:1-6
We can't really list everything that God has created...and that He has made to praise Him...but we can get God's gist today that it encompasses everything, and we can praise our Lord today!
Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, (8) fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him, (9) mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, (10) wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds, (11) kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, (12) young men and young women, old men and children. (13) Let them all praise the name of  the Lord.
For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!  ~Psalm 148:7-13
Our Lord made all, and He is all.  His Word is clear:
Praise the Lord from the heavens!...
Praise the Lord!  ~Psalm 148:1, 14
~~~

It is a recommendation: Praise the Lord! (Psalm 148:14).

It is a commendation: Praise the Lord! (Psalm 148:14).

It is an exclamation: Praise the Lord! (Psalm 148:14).

It is our privilege and our spiritual duty today to Praise the Lord! (Psalm 148:14).

If even the fruit trees and the small scurrying animals are called to praise the Lord today (sometimes both together!), can we?

Yes, we can, and in praising Him.... With our words...with our hearts...with our lives: we join all of His creation in praising Him, and He will make us strong for Him.
He will honor his faithful ones.
He loves those who are close to him

Need strength today?
Are we weak and worn out?
Then let's praise the Lord today, and see how things turn out.

He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones—the people of Israel who are close to him.  Praise the Lord!  ~Psalm 148:14
